Ann E. Deaton is a Senior Managing Director with U.S. Capital Advisors. With over twenty five years of investment experience, Ann has assisted many pension plans, foundations and endowments, corporations, and high net worth individuals in developing investment guidelines, structuring asset allocation programs, manager searches and performance analysis.
Ms. Deaton received her undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She then attended the University of California at Berkeley, earning her Master’s in Public Policy with a specialty in Economics. Additionally, Ms. Deaton received her CIMA (Certified Investment Management Analyst) degree from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania (1992).
Ann serves on the Investment Committee of the Greater Houston Community Foundation, the Board of the Goodwill Foundation, and on the Board of Girl Scouts. She was recently named a Woman Who Means Business by the Houston Business Journal. She is also a member of the Alexis de Tocqueville Society of the United Way of Houston, Chair of the Women’s Initiative for 2008/2009, and a member and past president of Texas Executive Women. She has also been named One of the 50 Most Influential Women in Houston by Houston Woman Magazine. In 2012-2013 she was a member of Class XXX of the American Leadership Forum.
In addition to work and her community activity, Ann enjoys playing golf and spending time at her farm.
