HOUSTON, TX (June 25, 2015)—U.S. Capital Advisors LLC (“USCA”) announced that a team of three seasoned professionals has joined its Wealth Management group.  The team, led by Kelly Rushing, brings a total of over 90 years of experience in wealth management and will augment the firm’s growing capabilities in the Texas market.

Mr. Rushing has over forty years of experience serving clients as a financial advisor.  He began his career at Kidder, Peabody and Co. and worked at several financial firms before spending the past 15 years at UBS. 

Joining Kelly Rushing are R. Shawn Jones and Davis Rushing.  Mr. Jones has worked in the financial industry for the past 21 years, after retiring in 1994 from a long career in the ministry.  His focus on the team is on financial planning, retirement income management, tax-optimized investing and wealth preservation and transfer strategies.  Mr. Davis Rushing spent the past nine years working at UBS, focusing on the team’s covered call strategy, constructing asset allocation models, helping clients create financial plans and assisting with security selection. 

Mr. Kelly Rushing has a BBA and an MBA from the University of Texas, serving in between as a lieutenant in the U.S. Navy.  Mr. Jones graduated from Harding University and the Harding Graduate School of Religion.  Mr. Davis Rushing has a BA in Economics from the University of Texas and an MBA from Rice University.

Joining Messrs. Rushing, Jones and Rushing is team member Idania Reyes.  Ms. Reyes spent seven years as a Sr. Registered Client Service Associate at UBS.  Prior to UBS she was with Invesco Aim for 20 years.

Messrs. Rushing, Jones and Rushing will become Managing Directors at USCA.  Ms. Reyes will be a Sr. Registered Client Service Associate.  All team members will be located in USCA’s headquarters office in Houston.
