HOUSTON, TX (May 2, 2011)—U.S. Capital Advisors LLC (“USCA”) announced today that Daniel M. Fidell has joined the firm as an Executive Director. Dan is a nationally recognized securities analyst, with 19 years of sell-side investment experience specializing in the natural gas utility, electric utility and related infrastructure industries. “We are delighted to have Dan Fidell join our growing team of professionals,” said David King, Managing Partner and Head of Institutional Client Group. “Dan’s background and expertise will be a tremendous addition to our firm and a great complement to our Institutional Client Group with its unique focus on energy infrastructure.” Dan was previously a Senior Vice President and Senior Analyst with Brean Murray, Carret & Co., covering the natural gas and electric distribution utilities and infrastructure companies focused on improving the efficiency of the U.S. power grid. Prior to Brean Murray, Dan spent 15 years with A.G. Edwards covering the natural gas distribution and alternative energy industries. He has been recognized on numerous occasions by Institutional Investor, the Wall Street Journal, StarMine and Greenwich Associates for his research, analysis and stock selection in the natural gas and electric utility industries. Most recently, Dan was awarded top honors by The Wall Street Journal’s ‘Best on the Street’ survey for stock picking in May, 2009 (1st Place of 54). Dan holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Loyola University and a Bachelor Degree in Journalism from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
